Business Development Board of Palm Beach County [BDB]

Founded in 1982, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) is the official public/private economic development organization for Palm Beach County and a partner of Enterprise Florida. Its primary purpose is to attract and retain a spectrum of new industries, business investment, high-quality jobs, and workforce through corporate relocations, expansions, and international trade.

The BDB needed to expand and support what began as a special initiative targeting corporate CEOs (Shine/Behind the Gates) and new out-of-state businesses to educate them of the plentiful advantages available for doing/moving business to Palm Beach County, particularly the business-friendly tax climate.  

Worked with United Way, Urban League, and Business Development Board to develop a bold, 50-page book outlining a united goal. It includes each agency’s mission and leadership, the intention underlying this unified effort, and then compiles over 110 programs and initiatives that businesses can support to meet philanthropic goals – including a new “Personally United” privately curated program. The branding extended to a unique landing page on the United Way website to view a digital version, and the requisite guideline deck to assure brand consistency. 

Working with the three high-profile agency leaders, we branded, designed, and wrote the guide, conducting a photo shoot further depicting that they are united in inspiring, collaborating, and innovating in Palm Beach County – a high-net-worth business destination where so many can afford to extend a helping hand.  

Friends of Manatee Lagoon (FOML) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding environmental education opportunities for all ages in Palm Beach County and beyond through enhanced exhibits and experiential learning.

They are located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Situated along the Lake Worth Lagoon estuary, FOML works with environmental partners, conducting research and presenting information that will lead to healthier coastal ecosystems.

Their vision is to serve as a valuable and supportive resource, engaging the community in conservation efforts that protect manatees and their fragile habitats. 

Elevated FOML’s brand presence through strategic messaging and custom content distributed across social media, email marketing, and public relations efforts. Developed promotional graphics to support the organization’s events, exhibits, and outreach initiatives.
